This add-on provides effortless drag-and-drop decals paired with gizmo controls, featuring out-of-the-box materials with procedural effects such as damage / peeled paint, wear, bump / normal maps and parallax. Now you can skip the complexities of manual texturing and UV mapping altogether. You can project your decals over more complex geometry as we support interactive projections with depth control among other features.

Prominent features

• Materials or objects → decals: any material or object can be used as a template to be "pasted" like a sticker wherever you need.
• Quick property editing: a dedicated context popup offers an easy access to the decal geometry settings and material controls for the selected objects. Decal parameters can be copied / pasted or inherited between them.
• Decal Gizmo: - dedicated gizmo lets you easily place a decal on any object and adapt its geometry to the surface.
• Decal Palette - quickly create new decals from the files on your hard drive, or create new instances of decals you have already imported. Palette also allows you to manage decal templates and to access various utility functions (such as replacing decals with different ones, or replacing their images or material). Decals are dynamically loaded directly from your drive folder; there's no need to import anything beforehand.
• Basics included: the addon ships with a small library of CC0 prototype materials for the most common use-cases (ranging from basic diffuse color to multi-texture PBR and even parallax/fake-3D effects). Of course, you can also make your own material libraries, or adapt those prototypes for your custom needs.
• No preloads or conversions needed whatsoever. You simply point to the decal folder containing JPG, PNG, or similar files, and that’s it! You can also define your favorite folders within our built-in preset system.
